Troubleshooting
This document provides technical guidance for troubleshooting common issues with the IDHub Google Sheet Connector. It includes information on general error conditions and logging practices. Use this guide as a reference when diagnosing and resolving issues with your IDHub Google Sheet integration.
Common Error Conditions
Errors may occur when IDHub is waiting for a response from your Google Sheet instance. These issues can arise during the initial setup of sources, ongoing management, or if the Google Sheet service is temporarily unavailable.
Timeout Errors
Several timeout errors are common across IDHub connectors. Adjusting the default timeout settings may resolve these issues:
- Reconciliation Timeout
- Default timeout: 180 seconds
- Retry interval: 90 seconds
- Failure after 3 retries
- Health Check Timeout
- Default timeout: 30 seconds
- Retry interval: 15 seconds
- Failure after 3 retries
- Provisioning Timeout
- Default timeout: 60 seconds
- Retry interval: 15 seconds
- Failure after 3 retries
These timeout settings provide a balance between allowing sufficient time for operations and ensuring timely error notifications.
Logging and Support
Logging
- For managed environments, logs are maintained within the Sath Kubernetes cluster. For further details on accessing these logs, please contact the IDHub support team.
- For self-hosted connectors, the Google Sheet Connector can be integrated with local or cloud-based logging platforms to capture transaction and audit data.
Support
If you require additional assistance or need to escalate an issue, please reach out to the IDHub support team via this link.
