Overview
Our Salesforce integration uses a dedicated Salesforce based connector for accessing and maintaining Permission Set and groups and user profiles.
We use SCIM protocols to connect to your Salesforce tenant using REST APIs.
Account in Salesforce
IDHub pulls all salesforce user account information from your salesforce tenant.
User Account attribute we fetch includes (but not limited to):
- First Name
- Last Name
- Display Name
- Username - This is the unique identifier
- Title
- Company
- Department
- Employee Number
- Office Address fields
Our customers can choose to fetch any other attributes apart from the above as per their individual needs. With our Attribute based Access Control (ABAC), you can decide which information will be used on new user creation and which ones on user modifications.
Entitlements in Salesforce
IDHub Salesforce Connector pulls 3 types of entitlement from Salesforce for provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Permission Set
- Permission Set Groups
- Profile
Employees of your organization can request for any of the above as needed.
Permission Set & Groups
Also as part of Salesforce connector, we establish connection with Salesforce to fetch all Permission Set and Permission Set Groups that can be assigned to an individual.
Users require to pick any entitlements as desired while requesting.
Upon completion of approvals based on request workflow defined by you, the users will automatically get access to the requested entitlement by our automated fulfillment.
Profiles
Also as part of Salesforce connector, we establish connection with Salesforce to fetch all Profiles that can be assigned to an individual.
Users require to pick any entitlements while account creation as desired while requesting.

Support and Maintenance
IDHub provides out of the box connector issue support and timely maintenance as a standard quality guarantee for all of our customers having our Cloud solution. However, any customization made to existing connectors requires managed services support plan for support and maintenance.
